Clinical Intern

Asking for help can be a tough, yet courageous choice. Healing is a journey, and it's not one that we have to take on by ourselves. My goal for my clients is to assist them in those journeys of healing and improvement by welcoming them into an accepting environment with compassion, and collaboration. I strive to build a relationship of trust and mutual respect in order to grow and learn.

I take a person-centered approach and utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and emotionally focused therapy (EFT), drawing on techniques to keep the client at the center, while stimulating growth and a better understanding of oneself. Through my own experiences, I understand that change isn’t a linear path, which is why I am committed to guiding my clients through that path with resilience, empathy, and patience. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone for creating meaningful change, and strive to be present with and empower my clients in doing so.

I am a counselor-in-training, completing my practicum/internship and currently studying at Colorado Christian University for a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
