Megan Klein

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University in 2012 and a Master of Science in Education and Health Sciences from The University of Dayton in 2014. She has spent the past decade as a school counselor, supporting students aged 4 to 18 in five different schools across two states. For seven years, she specialized in middle school counseling, working closely with students aged 10 to 14. Megan is skilled in solution-focused counseling and motivational interviewing.
Throughout her career, Megan has been a strong advocate for LGBTQ youth. She served as the advisor for the Genders and Sexualities Alliance at three schools, striving to create safer and more inclusive environments for these students.
Megan obtained her LPCC and is working toward her full licensure as a therapist. She is dedicated to helping clients set goals that reflect their unique needs and strengths. She provides a calm, supportive, and welcoming space, offering empathy and active listening to clients from all backgrounds. Believing that a non-judgmental and supportive therapist-client relationship is essential, she values each client’s story and holds space for meaningful moments and navigating difficult emotions.
In her free time, Megan enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son and three dogs and is an enthusiastic Ohio State Buckeyes and soccer fan.
