McKenna Whitley

Licensed Social Worker

McKenna is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Colorado State University. She has experience supporting children, adolescents, teens, and families in both clinical and school-based settings. McKenna believes that each client is the expert of their own story, and she views her role as a supportive guide and collaborator throughout the healing process.

Her training includes play therapy, experiential therapies, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), sand tray therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches. She is passionate about helping children express themselves through play, recognizing that behavior is often a child's primary form of communication and a window into their underlying needs.

McKenna's therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. She strives to meet clients where they are, build meaningful therapeutic relationships, and create a safe space that fosters growth, resilience, and lasting change.
