Kelly McDonnell
Social Work Candidate
Kelly is a clinical social work candidate and earned her Master of Social Work from Colorado State University. With experience working with adults and teens, she has a commitment to holistic well-being. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, she specializes in creating a therapeutic space where you feel seen and heard. Through active listening and a holistic perspective, Kelly fosters a collaborative and trusting client-therapist relationship, valuing and embracing the uniqueness of each individual. Using a rich blend of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) she ensures a tailored and effective approach to mental well-being.
Kelly creates a safe and welcoming environment, and gently challenges you to explore and celebrate your strengths, guiding you on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Kelly has a passion for working with adults and teens who struggle with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relational stress, the daily stressors of life, and those who have experienced trauma.
In her free time, Kelly loves spending time outside - in her garden or in the mountains.
