Daniel Jackson
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist & PCIC Co-Owner
Dan has been working directly with adults, children, and families for over twenty years in a multitude of roles. In 2007, Dan received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in Psychology. He worked for the Indiana Department of Child Services as a family case manager shortly after. While pursuing his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy he worked in the San Francisco Bay Area as a Therapist intern at Youth Homes, Inc. He has worked with underprivileged youth specializing in solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical-behavioral therapies. Upon receiving his Master's degree, he began practicing both privately and as a member of Kingsport Counseling Associates in East Tennessee. Dan moved to Colorado in the Spring of 2016 and began working with the Parent-Child Interaction Center & Canopy Counseling. He is a clinical fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, published author in the Journal of the American Dental Association, and an avid outdoors enthusiast. Dan is the proud father of two children.. Dan became an owner of PCIC in 2019.
