Chelsea Norris

Chelsea received her bachelor's degree at Colorado State University and spent several years working with children and families in Arizona in various social work positions. Chelsea helped develop the family program for unhoused pregnant women attending in patient rehabilitation for substances, worked in group homes for teens separated from their families, and worked in group homes with the O'odham and Piipaash tribes. She then returned to Colorado and worked with Poudre School District's Early Head Start program for several years, and enjoyed learning from many cultures and populations during her time at this position and was inspired by all of these jobs to return to Colorado Christian University for her Master's in Counseling. Chelsea has worked the last 6 years with children, teens and adults. Chelsea is a registered play therapist and specialize in working with children and parents. She works with people of all ages who have anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, life stresses, and grief. She believes in working collaboratively with her clients towards healing and enjoys working with clients from all faiths and backgrounds. Chelsea was born and raised in Colorado, but she still hates winter. She would much rather be by, on or in the lake on a warm summer day.
