Charlie Bondurant, LPCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

My name is Charlie, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who enjoys working with kids, teens, and young adults. Whether you're a child whose big feelings have started to feel bigger than you, a teenager quietly doubting your own worth, or a young adult trying to figure out who you are and where you're headed, you belong here.

The bulk of my experience is with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), however, I draw from a range of other approaches depending on what you or your loved one needs. I've practiced Narrative Therapy, I've used Person-centered techniques, and during my time working in school settings, I've learned Solution-focused skills. Additionally, I'm currently working on expanding my practice to include play therapy techniques and experiential approaches like outdoor therapy. Most importantly, I will always adapt my approach to fit you or your loved one, not the other way around.

Therapy with me doesn't have to feel like "therapy". For kids, that might look like games, creativity, and movement woven into our work together. For teens and young adults, it might mean humor, honesty, and conversations that don't feel stiff or clinical. If you choose me as your counselor, that's something I hold with real care seriousness and I also believe that there is space for laughter, silliness, or moments of genuine joy. Theres room for both.

A note to clients: If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down, you don't have to face it alone.

A note to parents: Seeing your child struggle can be heartbreaking, but reaching out is a powerful first step. I'd love to partner with you and your child.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I'm not in session, you can usually find me playing outside with my wife and our dog.
